The silicon carbide mold sleeve is made by isostatic pressing and high-temperature sintering. According to user design requirements, internal circular process holes and exhaust holes can be processed to achieve the specified accuracy tolerance.


Applied to non spherical glass molding hot forming molds (mold sleeves)


Advantage:

1. It still has high hardness and mechanical strength at high temperatures to avoid surface scratches during the molding process;

2. Excellent surface processing quality, no pores on the surface, smooth optical mirror surface, no adhesion with glass, and good demolding performance;

3. It has excellent antioxidant properties under high-temperature environmental conditions, and will not react with optical glass at high temperatures, resulting in stable surface quality;

4. High thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, heat resistance and impact performance: withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles in the molding process, with a long service life;

5. Due to the slightly lower thermal expansion coefficient of silicon carbide compared to tungsten steel, it is very suitable for matching with tungsten steel mold core, making it more convenient to take and place molds. Extending the lifespan of the mold core can greatly reduce product costs.
